  Good food? no. Good service? definitely not. For a bakery this place does hold some promise sadly it is spoilt by a mixture of blissful naivety and damn right rudeness from employees. Why should anyone have to wait in an empty bakery for 5 minutes whilst members of staff have a private conversation. I will not be visiting this shop again!

  I've just called the shop to complain but they're now closed. I'm putting a review on here to vent my disgust. I bought several items for tea and childrens pack lunch tomorrow. I have to say the Bakewell Tart is the absolute worst I've ever come across. Two mould patches, which I passed off to the kids as jam seeping through the top! Discovered it wasn't jam! Dry, tasteless with barely a scrape of jam on the hard base. As if that wasn't bad enough the first mouthful I crunched not only hard inedible pastry but also a mouthful of eggshell! The kids spat it in the bin, so did I. Shame on you, it definitely wasn't made today or even yesterday. I'm still picking eggshell out of my teeth. Feeling pretty queasy! I took a picture but unfortunately can't post on here.
